Roxanna Cella, this month's Wellington Celebrity Shopper, lunched at one of her favorite sushi restaurants, Saito's Japanese Steak House.

"I love the food here. Everything is so fresh," Roxanna said as she pulled up to Saito's, located in the Pointe at Wellington Green at 10240 W. Forest Hill Blvd.

Lilly Chang greeted Roxanna at the door, showed her to a corner booth and immediately sent over a sushi boat specially prepared by sushi chef David Tang. The boat wa laden with sushi and sashimi selections including tuna, wahoo, white tuna, yellow tail, octopus, salmon and eel. Colorful vegetables and two rolls were also served in the boat. The first was a California roll, and the other was Saito's signature Y2K Roll. The Y2K Roll features spicy white tuna, scallion, asparagus and tempura slakes topped with eel, avocado and tuna.

Saito's boats for two start at $39.95. Roxanna's boat was enough to feed three, but Lily kept the sushi coming. Roxanna also sampled another signature roll bearing the name of the restaurant. The Saito's Roll features eel, shrimp tempura, scallion, cucumber, avocado, masago, mayo, spicy sauce with tuna, tempura flakes and eel sauce. The Saito's Roll costs $10.50. Other rolls range in price from $6.50 for a Spicy Tuna Roll to $11.95 for the Black Dragon featuring shrimp tempura, crab salad, asparagus and cream cheese inside out with eel, avocado, eel sauce and sesame seeds on top.

Roxanna also took the opportunity to sample a plate of jumbo shrimp tempura with assorted tempura vegetables ($14.95.) Finally, Lily brought over a Spider Roll featuring soft-shell crab, cucumber, mayo, lettuce inside out the sesame seeds and eel sauce on top for $9.50. "Oh, that's my favorite," Roxanna said.

Saito's also offers several rolls named with a local flair including the Wellington, Olympia, 441 and Polo Rolls. The Wellington Roll has white fish, masago, and asparagus wrapped around seaweed and deep fried with crispy breading, then topped with eel sauce and sesame seeds. The Polo Roll features tamago, tempura eel, tempura crab inside out and is topped with tuna, hamachi seaweed strip and eel sauce.

The restaurant offers more than just sushi. The menu opens with a selection of over 30 appetizers and a variety of soup and salads. Entree selections include sirloin, chicken, Norwegian Salmon, scallops and lobsters, all served with teriyaki sauce. Even ostrich teriyaki is an option. Several entrees can be ordered tempura style, and there are nine ways to sample stir fry.

There is also a hibachi side to Saito's where guests can watch as dinner expertly prepared before their eyes. Hibachi dinners start at $13.55 for chicken. Lobster hibachi is the most expensive at $21.55. In between there are 11 other options including steak, calamari, tuna and ostrich. Hibachi dinners include salad, shrimp appetizer, hibachi vegetables and steamed rice.

To descride her dining experience, Roxanna made up her own word. "Lunch was stuffingly good," she decided.
